The Grand Opening Weekend was a success!
A special thanks to all our fans, supporters, and new customers. Saturday and Sunday we had a nice, steady flow of people coming in, visiting and shopping.
Sally, Jay, Mercedes, and I got there early on Saturday to do the finishing touches so it would look great as you walked in. The change surprised a few since the cash register island had moved.
Speaking of the cash register . . . . we don't get along that well. It seems to have a mind of its own when I use it. I shall prevail though. I just need lots of practice on it.
Now is time for recovery. It's so great being able to go home at 6:00 and not come back to paint or work on something. I took several pictures that I'll be uploading to my site: www.wuji.com/ECG Wait mid week so I have time to add the new one.
Thanks again for all your support and encouragement.

THANK YOU to Jay and Andy. Your store is a beautiful addition to the neighborhood. Thank you so much for helping Downtown Emergency Service Center (DESC) create patio gardening at 1811 Eastlake (A supportive housing project for formally homeless adults living with severe disabilities and addictions). The residents love their little herb and veggie garden and we couldn't have done it without you guys. It is wonderful that we are able to provide fresh herbs and veggies to people who have been through so much in their lives. We planted just last weekend and already residents are adding cilantro to their soups, and are learning a lot about fresh herbs. And they've been having fun trying the chocolate mint! Thank you for helping the residents at 1811 Eastlake and for making our community a better, brighter place.
